Recreational Groups

Our recreational program caters for children from 4yr old’s right through to teenagers. Beginning with Bouncing Bears & Gym Monkeys, they will learn the fundamentals of gymnastics with a focus on fun. Unlike KinderGym, our Bouncing Bears & Gym Monkeys will be in groups with their peers and under the guidance of our coaches, will make friends and learn & develop important social skills.

The program will allow the gymnasts to develop skills including coordination, strength, flexibility, and beginner shapes and movements, as well as life skills such as confidence, self-esteem, discipline & body awareness. As they progress through the levels, the program is designed to challenge the participants, allowing them to develop and master gymnastics skills beyond the beginner level such as round-offs, handsprings, walkovers, etc.

Our All Abilities class caters for the varying needs within the group. It aims to challenge and develop movement through gymnastics activities building confidence, spatial awareness, coordination, balance & strength with an awareness of each individual’s capacity and potential.
