The Maffra Gymnastic Club venue is equipped with a Federation Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) standard floor area. Other apparatus equipment includes multiple sets of bars, six high beams, two low beams, two vaulting tables, an in-ground foam pit which incorporates a tumbling strip, high bar, vault and in-ground trampoline.
A large sunken mat supports landing from the tumbling strip, high beam and an additional in-ground trampoline. A multiple bungie system is fitted over the floor area which can cater for up to five gymnasts.
To further enhance Maffra Gymnastics as a premier training and competition facility, a ring's canopy has been installed, as well as heating and cooling to manage weather variations.
Our Gymnastic Club and the Cameron Sporting Complex has had extensive renovations. Our gymnastics space has been further expanded and improved during the full renovation to the Cameron Sporting Complex. Our gymnastic club fully complies with Gymnastics Victoria’s Regional Centre specifications.
